Reserves of thermal mineral water at the Sokh deposit assessed for sanatoria in Fergana region

Field work is complete, and samples of the water brought up by drilling have been taken for a medical conclusion.

The Eastern Uzbekistan field hydrogeological expedition of O‘zbekgidrogeologiya is assessing the operational reserves of Neogene mineral groundwater at the Sokh deposit, for the balneological needs of sanatorium and resort facilities in Buvayda district, Fergana region.

By 10 October 2023 all field work was complete. Sh. Kholmirzaev, a specialist of the RIT va TRIATM state institution, took samples of the thermal mineral groundwater brought up by drilling for chemical analysis, so that a medical conclusion on the water can be given.
