On 30 October 2024, the Ministry of Energy met a delegation of China’s Sinoma EC Investment led by its president, Liu Sin, the ministry reported the same day.
The company is building a 300 MW solar photovoltaic plant, a 75 MW electricity storage system and overhead power lines in Navoi region, and the sides discussed the project’s progress and next steps.
They also agreed to carry out joint projects in geothermal energy in the country’s regions, and in producing energy-efficient building materials with advanced technologies. Sinoma EC Investment, founded in 1987, is part of China National Building Material Group (CNBM).
