On 18 May 2026, the leadership of the University of Geological Sciences held an official meeting with representatives of BRGM, France’s geological survey, the university reported on 19 May.
As part of the visit, foreign specialists Dr A. G. Guezennec and Dr R. Michels are giving a series of training seminars from 19 to 21 May on “Metals for energy and digital transformations: from resources to metals”. The university invited specialists, doctoral students and researchers to take part.
It is BRGM’s second visit to the university in six months, after a delegation came with France’s ambassador in December 2025.
